I had the opportunity to serve as a mentor for students of the Faculty of Technology at South Eastern University of Sri Lanka during their internal Designerthon.
In this role, I guided student teams through the design process from problem identification and user research to ideation, prototyping, and final presentation. I provided feedback on usability, design thinking approaches, visual communication, and solution validation to help participants refine their concepts and strengthen their project outcomes.
It was a rewarding experience to support emerging designers, encourage innovative thinking, and contribute to building a strong design culture within the university community.
